Eleron 2-Year Warranty, Returns & Quality Assurance
Understand Eleron’s 24-month warranty, our 14-day return policy, what’s covered, how to claim, and how quality is ensured — plus clear ECE context.
Eleron 2-Year Warranty & Quality Assurance (EU)
Exactly how our 24-month warranty and 14-day return policy work, what’s covered, and how we build quality into every light — with clear ECE context and practical claim steps.
2-Year Warranty
24 months of coverage from the date of purchase for manufacturing defects.
14-Day Returns
Money-back guarantee for unused, uninstalled items in original packaging.
Clear ECE Context
All units are DOT/SAE approved; select EU units are E-marked.
14-Day Returns & Delivery Inspections
We want you to be completely satisfied with your order. Here is how our return policy works:
- 14-Day Guarantee: Undamaged, uninstalled, and unmodified products in their original packaging can be returned within 14 days of delivery.
- RMA Required: All returns require a Return Authorization (RMA) from [email protected]. Items sent without an RMA may be refused.
- Shipping Costs: If returning due to a change of mind, the buyer covers return shipping. If we made an error, we cover it.
- 48-Hour Inspection: Please inspect your order immediately! If an item arrives damaged, incorrect, or missing parts, contact us within 48 hours with clear photos of the item and packaging.
At a Glance — Your 2-Year Warranty
- Coverage: 24 months from the date of purchase for manufacturing defects under normal use.
- Remedy: Replacement with a new or refurbished unit of equal value.
- Proof: Keep your order number. Photo and unedited video evidence of the issue (and troubleshooting steps) are required.
- Important: If an order is fully refunded, warranty coverage ends. Replacement items follow the remaining original warranty period.
Tip: Keep original packaging until you’ve tested fit, function, and beam aim.
What’s Covered vs. What Isn’t
Typically Covered
- DRL strip stops working early in normal use.
- Persistent droplets/pooling that don’t clear (properly installed).
- Manufacturing fault in a harness connector.
- Design or manufacturing defects verified by our team.
Typically Not Covered
- Impacts, cracked lenses, collisions, or cosmetic wear.
- Modified wiring, custom specs, or chemical/grease damage on connectors.
- HID/LED conversions without proper sealing.
- Water damage from submersion or extreme off-road use.
How to File a Warranty Claim
- Locate your order number and the exact product SKU.
- Document the issue: Take clear photos and an unedited video of the symptom and your basic troubleshooting steps. For moisture, add a photo immediately and another after 24h.
- Contact support ([email protected]) with your files (use WeTransfer if large) and a brief description.
- Diagnosis by our team — we may require you to return the defective unit for inspection before approval.
- Resolution: If approved, we will ship a replacement unit.
What “Quality Assurance” Means at Eleron
Automotive-Grade Manufacturing
Production guided by IATF/ISO practices; material checks, in-process inspections, end-of-line tests, and thermal/humidity stress on representative units.
Product-Level Markings
All Eleron units are DOT/SAE approved. Some EU-focused SKUs are also E-marked (ECE). Always check the specific product page.
Moisture, Condensation & LEDs — What’s Normal?
Condensation
Light misting can appear with temperature swings and should clear as the lamp warms.
Ingress
Persistent droplets/pooling that don’t dissipate point to a sealing issue — document and contact support.
Installation & Care Tips (Protect Your Warranty)
- Disconnect the battery before installing; avoid forcing connectors.
- Do not apply grease or chemicals to connectors as this can cause connection issues and void the warranty.
- Seat and torque mounts evenly to prevent stress on housings.
- Aim correctly against a flat surface per your vehicle’s spec.
- Avoid high-pressure jets directly at seals and vents.
- Don’t cut or splice unless an official instruction specifies it.
ECE / E-mark — Helpful Context
All Eleron units are DOT/SAE approved. Some EU-focused products also carry ECE E-mark type-approval (circled “E” with a number). If a product doesn’t list E-marking, simply use it as intended and for tuning projects in line with local expectations — and always check the product page for specifics.
