Snake Eye — Yellow/White DRL Switch (YAA-G20-05819)
- Fitment: G20 Sedan / G21 Touring Pre-LCI 2019–2022 with 5A2 Standard LED.
- Not for: 552 Adaptive LED (AFS) or 5AZ Laserlight.
- All-LED: low/high + indicators; no bulbs to add.
- E-mark approved; 12-month warranty from delivery.
- Install: Plug OE harness, mount to factory points, aim with adjusters.
How to switch DRL color (no image needed)
- Ignition on (engine can be on or off).
- Use the stalk to flash the high beams 5 times in succession.
- The DRL switches to yellow. Repeat the sequence to switch back to white.
- Test both sides, then aim beams before driving.
If the mode doesn’t change, perform the sequence a bit faster and ensure you’re using flash-to-pass (momentary) rather than latching high-beam on.
G80 Look (M3-Style) — Switchback DRL (YAA-G20-05818)
- Fitment: G20/G21 Pre-LCI 2019–2022 with 5A2 Standard LED.
- Not for: 552 Adaptive LED or 5AZ Laserlight.
- Signature: G80/M3-style “angel eyes” with white ⇄ yellow DRL switch via 5× high-beam flash (same steps as above).
- All-LED: low/high, amber indicators, OE-style connectors; no coding on 5A2.
- E-mark approved; 12-month warranty.

CSL/GTS Style — AFS Compatible, OEM-like Behavior (YAA-G20-05817)
- Fitment: G20/G21 Pre-LCI 2019–2022.
- Supports AFS: Reuse original headlight control modules; coding typically required to clear checks.
- Compatible modules: Designed to reuse 5A2 or 552 OEM modules (transfer from OE lights).
- DRL color switch: 5× high-beam flash to toggle white ⇄ yellow (as above).
- E-mark approved; 12-month warranty.
Module reuse & coding (explained)
- Remove OE housings and carefully transfer the OEM LED/AFS control modules to each new CSL/GTS housing (match left/right).
- Reconnect the OE harnesses and secure the modules per their original screw points; check seals/gaskets.
- Power on: if warnings appear, code the vehicle to synchronize functions and clear bulb/AFS checks.
- Function-test low/high/DRL/turns, then aim the beams.
If coding tools aren’t available, consult a retrofit specialist familiar with G-series BMWs.
E-Mark & EU Legality — Straightforward, No Drama
All three VLAND options here are E-mark approved. You’ll find the E-mark on the housing. For best results with technical inspections, install carefully, aim correctly, and use as intended for your tuning project and local expectations.

General Install (all styles)
- Remove OE housings; transfer any clips/brackets if needed.
- Connect OE harness; mount to factory points; test low/high, indicators and DRL toggle.

- Snake Eye / G80 look (5A2): No coding typically required.
- CSL/GTS: Reuse OEM modules (5A2 or 552); coding is usually required to clear checks and synchronize functions.
