The angel eye is the single most recognizable element in BMW's design language. It defined the brand's face for two decades, and on the E92 — particularly the M3 — it remains the detail that tells you what you're looking at before anything else does.
These headlights preserve that identity and rebuild everything behind it. Bi-LED projectors replace your factory xenon optics. The halo rings are LED-driven, sharper and more uniform than the original incandescent rings. The housing, the optics, the beam pattern — all new. The character of the car — unchanged.
Compatible with factory xenon cars — both non-adaptive and adaptive (AFS). Every version is plug-and-play with zero coding. Every LED driver and control module comes pre-installed. Includes integrated auto-leveling and is compatible with the High Beam Assist (HBA) function if your car is factory-equipped.
Does your E92 have Adaptive (AFS) headlights?
Look through the lens of your current headlight housing. Non-adaptive xenon headlights have one projector and one reflector bowl side by side. Adaptive (AFS) headlights have two projectors. You can also check by turning the steering wheel with the engine running and headlights on — if the beams swivel with the wheel, you have AFS.
Either way, you're covered. We manufacture a dedicated version for each xenon harness — standard xenon and xenon AFS. Both are plug-and-play with no coding required.

How These Are Built
One Version Per Harness — No Adapters
We manufacture a dedicated version for each xenon configuration on the E92 platform — standard xenon or adaptive bi-xenon (AFS). Each unit's CAN-bus module is pre-configured for your factory connector. No error codes, no adapters, no surprises.
Ships Complete — Nothing to Transfer
Every assembly includes all LED drivers, projector modules, and halo ring electronics pre-installed and configured. No ballasts to move, no bulbs to source, no ignitors to carry over. Your factory headlights stay intact.
Bi-LED Projectors — Low Beam, High Beam and Auto-Leveling
Bi-LED projectors replace the factory xenon optics with a sharp cutoff line on low beam and a wide, even spread on high beam — both from a single unit. The integrated auto-leveling motor adjusts beam height based on vehicle load, the same as your factory system.
LED Halo Rings
The angel eye rings are LED-driven — sharper, more uniform, and longer-lasting than the original incandescent rings. The same circular geometry, rendered with precision that the factory rings couldn't achieve at this price point fifteen years ago.
Sealed Against Water Intrusion
Water intrusion into the headlight housing is one of the E92 platform's most expensive problems — particularly on AFS cars, where moisture shorts out the adaptive module and stepper motor. ABS housings with PMMA lenses, sealed at every joint and bench-tested before shipping.
High Beam Assist (HBA) — Compatible
If your E92 has the High Beam Assist option (5AC), these headlights support it without any modification. HBA was available on Pre-LCI cars from September 2007 build and across the entire LCI production run. Auto-leveling works as standard on every version.
Installation
A straightforward headlight swap requiring front bumper removal — standard on the E92 platform. No wiring modifications, no coding on any version. Allow 2–3 hours.
- Remove the front bumper to access the headlight mounting bolts.
- Unbolt the factory headlights and disconnect the main harness plug.
- Plug the new headlight into your factory harness.
- Test before reassembly — verify low beam, high beam, halo rings, and indicators.
- Reinstall the bumper, align beam height using the integrated adjusters.

Yes. The E92 M3 shares the same headlight mounting points and harness as the standard E92 Coupe. Select the non-adaptive or adaptive version to match your M3's factory setup.
Yes. The E92 Coupe and E93 Convertible share identical headlight geometry and connectors.
No. We manufacture a dedicated AFS-compatible version with internal electronics configured to satisfy the E92's diagnostic checks. The physical AFS swiveling is replaced by a fixed, wide-angle Bi-LED projector beam pattern — the car will not flag any faults.
This is one of the most common reasons E92 owners upgrade. Factory adaptive headlights are prone to water intrusion that shorts out the AFS control module, and stepper motor failures that trigger a persistent dashboard warning. These assemblies eliminate the AFS failure points entirely while preserving the angel eye identity that belongs on the car.
The halo rings illuminate as the primary signature light whenever the headlights are active. Whether they operate as dedicated DRLs depends on your vehicle's factory lighting configuration.

Paigaldus
