Installation
A like-for-like tail light swap through the trunk interior. No bumper removal. Allow 45–60 minutes for the full set.
- Open the trunk and remove the inner trim panels to access the tail light mounting hardware.
- Unbolt the outer (fender) tail lights and disconnect the factory plugs.
- Unbolt the inner (trunk lid) tail lights and disconnect.
- Plug the new outer and inner units into the factory tail light connectors and mount.
- Inner indicator (optional): To run the sequential turn signal through the inner trunk-lid units as well, connect the supplied bridge wire from the outer lamp to the inner. If you skip it, the inner units still function as running and brake lights.
- Test before reassembly — verify running lights, brake lights, reverse light, fog light, and sequential indicators.
- Reinstall the trunk trim panels.
