OEM+ Full LED Headlights — BMW 5 Series (F10/F11)
Bi-LED Upgrade for Xenon Models — Pre-LCI & LCI — Sedan & Touring — 2011–2017
BMW 5 Series Sedan (F10) • Touring (F11) • 520i • 528i • 530i • 535i • 550i • M5 (F10) • 2011–2017
A complete lighting upgrade for your F10/F11. These Full LED assemblies replace your factory xenon projectors with high-output Bi-LED optics and a contemporary DRL signature — sharper and more defined than the original halos. Every LED driver and control module comes pre-installed. No bulbs to source, no ballasts to transfer. Plug into your factory xenon harness and drive.
E-Marked (ECE) — road-legal across the EU. Compatible with both standard xenon and adaptive xenon (AFS) harnesses.
Does your car have Adaptive Headlights (AFS)?
AFS headlights physically swivel left and right to follow your steering input while driving at night. The easiest way to check: turn your steering wheel with the engine running and the headlights on — if the beams move with the wheel, you have AFS.
Standard xenon (non-AFS): Fully plug-and-play. No coding of any kind.
Adaptive xenon (AFS): The headlights plug straight in and all functions work correctly. The physical swiveling motor is not present in the new housings, so a single parameter in the FRM module needs to be disabled to clear the AFS check from the dashboard. This is a straightforward coding adjustment — any BMW-equipped workshop or mobile coder can complete it in a few minutes using E-Sys or ISTA. No adaptations, no module swaps, no complex procedures.
Confirm Your Factory Headlights
We manufacture a dedicated version for Pre-LCI and LCI xenon harnesses. Match your current headlights below.
Not compatible with: Vehicles originally equipped with factory LED headlights (option 552). These are designed exclusively as an upgrade from xenon to Full LED.

How These Are Built
Ships Complete — Nothing to Transfer
Every assembly includes all LED drivers, projector modules, and DRL electronics pre-installed. No ballasts to move from your old headlights, no bulbs to source. Your factory xenon units stay intact — keep them as spares or sell them.
Plug-and-Play on Standard Xenon
On non-AFS xenon cars, installation is entirely plug-and-play. The internal electronics are pre-configured for the F10's LIN-bus communication with the FRM3 module. No coding tools, no software changes, no workshop visit for the electrical side.
E-Marked (ECE)
Every unit carries ECE certification covering the full assembly — housing, optics, and beam pattern. Road-legal across the EU. Passes TÜV, MOT, and periodic inspections.
Full LED — Every Function
Low beam, high beam, DRL, and indicators are all powered by integrated LEDs. No xenon warm-up time, no D-series bulbs to replace, no ballast failures to worry about. Instant-on, full output from the moment you start the car.
Sealed Construction
High-strength polycarbonate lenses with ABS housing, sealed at every joint during manufacturing. F10 headlight condensation — caused by aging seals and ballast heat cycling — is one of the most common issues on the platform. These housings are built to stay clear.
2-Year Warranty
Every pair is bench-tested before shipping. Two full years of coverage from delivery date.
Installation
A straightforward headlight swap. The front bumper does not need to be fully removed — loosening it and pulling it forward is typically sufficient to access the headlight mounting bolts. Allow 1.5–2.5 hours.
- Loosen the front bumper: undo the top fasteners under the hood, the Torx screws inside the wheel arches, and the undertray clips. Pull the bumper forward enough to access the headlight area.
- Unbolt the factory headlights and disconnect the main harness plug.
- Transfer any required factory mounting clips or brackets to the new housings.
- Plug the new headlight into your factory harness.
- Test before reassembly — verify low beam, high beam, DRL, and indicators.
- Reinstall the bumper, align beam height using the integrated adjusters.
AFS cars: after installation, have the AFS check disabled in the FRM module. Any BMW-equipped workshop or mobile coder can do this in minutes — it's a single parameter change, not a complex procedure.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. The headlights plug directly into the AFS xenon harness and all lighting functions work immediately. The only additional step is disabling the AFS swivel check in the FRM module — a single coding parameter (C_AFS_ENA to "disable") that any BMW workshop or mobile coder can adjust in a few minutes using E-Sys or ISTA. No module replacements, no complex adaptations.
Start the engine, turn on the headlights, and turn the steering wheel while stationary. If the beams physically swivel left and right following the wheel, you have AFS. If they stay fixed, you have standard xenon — fully plug-and-play with no coding at all.
Yes. The F10 Sedan and F11 Touring share identical headlight geometry, mounting points, and electrical connectors.
No. These are designed exclusively as an upgrade from xenon to Full LED. They are not intended as replacements for vehicles that left the factory with LED headlights (option 552).
Nothing. Every component is pre-installed — LED drivers, projector modules, DRL electronics. Your factory xenon units stay fully intact.
This is one of the most common reasons F10 owners upgrade. Aging xenon assemblies are prone to seal degradation, moisture ingress, and ballast failure — repairs that often cost more than the headlights themselves. These assemblies are factory-sealed with integrated LED electronics, eliminating ballast and bulb failure points entirely.
Yes. The bumper needs to be loosened (not fully removed) to access the headlight bolts. You'll need Torx bits, a trim removal tool, and about 1.5–2.5 hours. AFS cars will need a brief coding step afterward — if you don't have access to coding tools, any local BMW specialist can handle it.
