The most modern headlight available for the E90 chassis. The light-bar DRL and twin-projector layout borrow from the design language BMW introduced on the G20 — the generation that replaced the E90's successor. On a well-maintained E90, the effect is striking: the proportions stay right, but the front end reads as something far more current than it is.
This is a complete lighting conversion. Twin Bi-LED projectors replace whatever your car currently has — halogen reflectors, bi-xenon, or adaptive AHL/AFS xenon. No ballasts to carry over, no bulbs to source. Every LED driver and control module comes pre-installed. Select your factory headlight type and your DRL configuration at checkout — we handle the rest, including AFS/AHL compatibility.

Step 2 — Choose Your DRL Configuration
Two DRL configurations on the same twin-projector housing platform. Pick by color count and intended use.
White
The clean modern look.
Fixed white light-bar DRL. Clean, understated, and the modern BMW aesthetic without multi-color switching.
White + Yellow
The motorsport signature.
Toggle between White and Selective Yellow (3000K) using the high-beam lever. Flash 6× for Yellow, 5× for White. Retains your selection through ignition cycles.
Built on the same housing platform. Popular for show builds and the classic motorsport look.
DRL Color Switching — No App Required
Applies to the White + Yellow version only. The White-only version has a fixed DRL.
Toggle the light-bar DRL between White (~6,000K) and Yellow (~3,000K) using your high-beam lever. The headlight retains your selection through ignition cycles. No phone, no app, no external switch.
Switch to Yellow: Flash high beams 6 times in quick succession.
Switch back to White: Flash high beams 5 times in quick succession.
How These Are Built
Every E90 Configuration — One SKU Each
Halogen, bi-xenon (S522A), adaptive AHL/AFS xenon (S524A) — every factory headlight configuration shipped on the E90 platform is supported across Pre-LCI and LCI. Just select halogen or xenon at checkout. The internal electronics are built for that specific harness, including full AFS motor and signal compatibility.
Ships Complete — Nothing to Transfer
Every assembly includes all LED drivers and control electronics pre-installed. No xenon ballasts to move, no D1S bulbs to source, no ignitors to carry over. Your factory headlights stay fully intact — keep them as spares or sell them.
Twin Bi-LED Projectors — Sharp Cutoff, Wide Coverage
Two high-output Bi-LED projectors per side replace the factory optics entirely. Sharp cutoff line, wide coverage, instant-on with no warm-up delay. A significant step up from halogen reflectors in both output and beam precision — and a direct like-for-like replacement for bi-xenon in terms of projector count and beam pattern.
Auto-Leveling & High Beam Assist — Supported
Xenon versions (S522A / S524A): Integrated leveling motor adjusts beam height based on vehicle load — same behaviour as factory. High Beam Assist (5AC) is fully supported: Pre-LCI from approximately 09/2007 build date, LCI throughout the entire production run.
Halogen versions: Beam height is adjusted via the factory thumbwheel — the adjuster signal is supported. High Beam Assist was not offered on halogen E90s from the factory and does not apply here.

Installation
A straightforward headlight swap requiring front bumper removal — standard on the E90 platform. No wiring modifications, no coding on any version. Allow 2–3 hours.
- Remove the front bumper to access the headlight mounting bolts.
- Unbolt the factory headlights and disconnect the main harness plug.
- Plug the new headlight into your factory harness.
- Test before reassembly — verify low beam, high beam, DRL, indicators, and (on the dual-color version) DRL color switching (6× yellow / 5× white).
- Reinstall the bumper, align beam height using the integrated adjusters.
