These headlights preserve that identity and rebuild everything behind it. Bi-LED projectors replace the factory halogen reflectors or aging xenon optics — separate LED elements for low and high beam, with a sharp cutoff line and wide, even coverage. The halo rings are LED-driven — sharper, more uniform, and longer-lasting than the original incandescent rings. The housing, the optics, the beam pattern — all new. The character — intact.
Compatible with every factory headlight on the E90 platform — halogen, bi-xenon (option S522A), and adaptive AHL/AFS xenon (option S524A). Just confirm halogen or xenon at checkout — we handle the rest, including AFS/AHL and High Beam Assist (5AC) compatibility. Every version is plug-and-play with zero coding. Every LED driver and control module comes pre-installed.

Step 1 — Halogen or Xenon?
That's the only decision. We manufacture a dedicated version for each harness type — the internal electronics are pre-configured for your car. If you have adaptive AHL or AFS xenon, the standard xenon version covers you.

How These Are Built
Every E90 Configuration — Fully Pre-Configured
Halogen, bi-xenon (S522A), adaptive AHL/AFS xenon (S524A) — every factory headlight configuration on the E90 platform is supported. The internal electronics — including CAN-bus interface, AFS motor control, and High Beam Assist (5AC) logic — are pre-configured for your specific harness. Select halogen or xenon at checkout. No coding, no error codes, no adapters.
Ships Complete — Nothing to Transfer
Every assembly includes all LED drivers, projector modules, and halo ring electronics pre-installed and configured. No ballasts to move, no D1S bulbs to source, no ignitors to carry over. Your factory headlights stay intact.
Bi-LED Projectors — Auto-Leveling & High Beam Assist
Separate LED elements for low and high beam in a single projector unit — what BMW calls bi-LED in its own lineup. Sharp cutoff line, wide even coverage, no dark spots.
Xenon variants (S522A / S524A): Integrated leveling motor plugs directly into your factory auto-leveling harness and adjusts beam height based on vehicle load — no separate controller needed. High Beam Assist (5AC) is fully supported: Pre-LCI xenon cars built from approximately 09/2007 onward, and all LCI xenon cars, are compatible where the factory camera and control unit are present.
Halogen variants: Electric auto-leveling was not part of the factory halogen setup on the E90 — these headlights match that, with the manual thumbwheel adjuster fully functional. High Beam Assist was not offered from the factory on halogen E90s and is not applicable here.
LED Halo Rings
The angel eye rings are LED-driven — sharper, more uniform, and longer-lasting than the original incandescent rings. The same circular geometry, rendered with a precision the factory rings couldn't achieve at this price point nearly twenty years ago.
Bench-Tested Before Shipping
ABS housing with PMMA lenses, sealed against moisture at every joint. Every pair goes through a full function check — projectors, halo rings, leveling motor, CAN-bus communication — before it leaves the bench. Two years of coverage from delivery date.
Installation
A straightforward headlight swap requiring front bumper removal — standard on the E90 platform. No wiring modifications, no coding on any version. Allow 2–3 hours.
- Remove the front bumper to access the headlight mounting bolts.
- Unbolt the factory headlights and disconnect the main harness plug.
- Plug the new headlight into your factory harness.
- Test before reassembly — verify low beam, high beam, halo rings, and indicators.
- Reinstall the bumper, align beam height using the integrated adjusters.
