Twin Projector LED Headlights — BMW E92/E93 Coupe & M3
Full LED Conversion with Light-Bar DRL — Non-Adaptive & Adaptive (AFS) — Pre-LCI & LCI — 2007–2013
BMW E92 Coupe • E93 Convertible • E92 M3 • 328i • 335i • Pre-LCI & LCI • 2007–2013
The most modern headlight available for the E92 chassis. These twin-projector LED assemblies replace your factory xenon housings entirely — trading the aging halo rings and D1S bulbs for a clean light-bar DRL signature and high-output Bi-LED projectors. No ballasts to carry over, no bulbs to source. Every LED driver and control module comes pre-installed.
Built with dedicated versions for both non-adaptive and adaptive (AFS) wiring — both fully plug-and-play with zero coding. Integrated auto-leveling motor included. If your E92 has High Beam Assist (5AC), it continues to work — Pre-LCI from September 2007 build onwards, LCI throughout the entire run. If your adaptive headlights have failed from water intrusion or stepper motor wear (one of the most common E92 issues), these are the upgrade that solves it permanently. Select your factory headlight type and your DRL configuration at checkout — we handle the rest.
Does your E92 have Adaptive (AFS) headlights?
Look through the lens of your current headlight housing. Non-adaptive headlights have one projector and one reflector bowl side by side. Adaptive (AFS) headlights have two projectors. You can also check by turning the steering wheel with the engine running and headlights on — if the beams swivel with the wheel, you have AFS.
Either way, you're covered. We manufacture a dedicated version for each harness. Both are plug-and-play with no coding required.
Step 1 — Select Your Factory Headlight Type
The internal electronics are configured specifically for your harness. Select the version that matches your current headlights.

Step 2 — Choose Your DRL Configuration
Two DRL configurations on the same twin-projector housing platform. Pick by color count and intended use.
White
The clean modern look.
Fixed white light-bar DRL. Clean, understated, and the modern BMW aesthetic without multi-color switching.
White + Yellow
The motorsport signature.
Toggle between White and Selective Yellow (3000K) via the high-beam lever. Flash 5× to switch. Retains your selection through ignition cycles.
The show and track choice.
DRL Color Switching — No App Required
Applies to the White + Yellow version only. The White-only version has a fixed DRL.
Flash your high beams 5 times in quick succession to toggle the light-bar DRL between White (~6,000K) and Yellow (~3,000K). The headlight retains your selection through ignition cycles. No phone, no app, no external switch.
How These Are Built
Two Xenon Variants — One Correct Fit
Most aftermarket E92 headlights exclude adaptive cars entirely or require NCSExpert / BimmerCode to suppress the AFS dashboard fault. The E92 CAN-bus carries distinct diagnostic expectations for standard xenon and adaptive bi-xenon (AFS) — we manufacture a dedicated version for each, with the correct internal electronics built in. The physical AFS swiveling function is replaced by a fixed, wide-angle twin-projector beam pattern. The car sees what it expects to see. No coding on either version.
Ships Complete — Nothing to Transfer
Every assembly includes all LED drivers and control electronics pre-installed. No xenon ballasts to move, no D1S bulbs to source, no ignitors to carry over. Your factory headlights stay intact — keep them as spares or sell them.
Twin Bi-LED Projectors with Auto-Leveling
Two Bi-LED projectors per side replace the factory xenon setup entirely — each handling both low and high beam independently, with a sharp cutoff line, wide coverage, and instant-on with no warm-up delay. The integrated auto-leveling motor adjusts beam height based on vehicle load, controlled through the same circuit your factory headlights used.
Sealed Against Water Intrusion
Water intrusion into the headlight housing is one of the E92 platform's most expensive problems — particularly on AFS cars, where moisture shorts out the adaptive module and stepper motor. These assemblies use ABS housings with PMMA lenses, sealed at every joint and bench-tested before shipping.
High Beam Assist (5AC) Compatible
High Beam Assist was an optional fitment on E92 xenon cars across the full production run — available from September 2007 on Pre-LCI cars, and throughout the entire LCI run, on both non-adaptive and AFS variants. If your car has it, the camera system continues to detect traffic and toggle the high beam circuit through the same signal path. Nothing changes on the car's end.
Pre-LCI & LCI — Full Range Coverage
This is the only E92 headlight in our lineup that covers the entire production run — 2007 through 2013. We manufacture dedicated versions for the Pre-LCI (2007–2010) and LCI (2010–2013) harnesses separately, so the internal electronics match your car's specific wiring regardless of build year. Select the correct one at checkout.
Installation
A straightforward headlight swap requiring front bumper removal — standard on the E92 platform. No wiring modifications, no coding on either version. Allow 2–3 hours.
- Remove the front bumper to access the headlight mounting bolts.
- Unbolt the factory headlights and disconnect the main harness plug.
- Plug the new headlight into your factory harness.
- Test before reassembly — verify low beam, high beam, DRL, indicators, and (on the dual-color version) DRL color switching (5× flash).
- Reinstall the bumper, align beam height using the integrated adjusters.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. The E92 M3 shares the same headlight mounting points and harness as the standard E92 Coupe. Select the non-adaptive or adaptive version to match your M3's factory setup.
Yes. The E92 Coupe and E93 Convertible share identical headlight geometry and connectors.
No. We manufacture a dedicated AFS-compatible version with internal electronics configured to satisfy the E92's CAN-bus diagnostic checks. No NCSExpert, no BimmerCode, no dealer visit. The physical AFS swiveling is replaced by a fixed, wide-angle twin-projector beam pattern — the car will not flag any faults.
Yes. High Beam Assist was available as an option on E92 xenon cars from September 2007 (Pre-LCI) and throughout the entire LCI run, on both non-adaptive and AFS variants. If your car has it, the camera system continues to control the high beam circuit through the same signal path. Nothing changes on the car's end.
This is one of the most common reasons E92 owners upgrade. Factory adaptive headlights are prone to water intrusion that shorts out the AFS control module, and stepper motor failures that trigger a persistent dashboard warning. Repairs often cost more than the headlights themselves. These assemblies eliminate the AFS failure points entirely while giving you a significant visual and functional upgrade over the original xenon setup.
Both versions share the same twin-projector housing, same optics, same fitment, and the same plug-and-play installation. The White version has a fixed white light-bar DRL — clean and understated. The White+Yellow version adds switchable color: flash the high beams 5× to toggle between White and Selective Yellow. The White+Yellow is the show and track choice.
Yes. We manufacture dedicated versions for both Pre-LCI (2007–2010) and LCI (2010–2013) harnesses. Select the correct one for your model year at checkout.
Nothing. Every component is pre-installed — LED drivers, twin Bi-LED projector modules, leveling motor. Your factory xenon units stay fully intact.
We offer three distinct styles for the E92 platform. This twin-projector design is the most modern option — a clean light-bar DRL that moves the E92 into current BMW design language. The Angel Eyes Halo headlights are an OEM+ approach that preserves the classic BMW ring identity with upgraded LED internals. The Smoked Arrow-DRL is the aggressive option with a blacked-out housing and sharp Arrow-DRL strip. All three share the same plug-and-play engineering and AFS compatibility.
Yes, if you're comfortable removing the front bumper on the E92. Standard hand tools and about 2–3 hours. No lift required.
