Product Information
LED Tri-Color Headlights with White / CSL DRL Modes — BMW 4 Series F32/F33/F36 • M3 F80 • M4 F82/F83 (Pre-LCI & LCI)
OEM-look, full-LED upgrade with clean light guides and precise low/high output. Choose from a subtle OEM-style white DRL replacement or more aggressive CSL-inspired multi-color DRL setups. Plug-and-play versions for both pre-LCI Xenon and LCI LED cars, all E-marked and road-legal when used in white DRL mode.
F32 headlights with yellow DRL, GTS/CSL-style F32/F80/F82 headlights; variants include white-only OEM look, white + yellow CSL DRL, white + yellow + amber, and white + yellow + red DRL options.
Choose your DRL style
- White-only OEM DRL — fixed white DRL with a clean factory-style look. Ideal if you want the car to look like it left the showroom with original-equipment LED headlights. A perfect OEM-look replacement for tired Xenon/LED units, keeping a stock front end while refreshing clarity and output. E-marked and road-legal.
- White + Yellow CSL DRL — classic GTS/CSL-inspired halo design that lets you swap between crisp OEM-white and selective yellow (~3000 K). White DRL keeps an OEM+ appearance for daily driving, while the yellow DRL gives a more aggressive, track-car style signature. E-marked and road-legal when used in white DRL mode.
- White + Yellow + Amber CSL DRL — multi-stage CSL-style DRL with white, yellow, and amber options. White is your road DRL, while yellow and amber give a bolder, motorsport-inspired, more aggressive look when you want the car to stand out at meets. E-marked; road-legal when the DRL is set to white.
- White + Yellow + Red CSL DRL — the most extreme CSL-style option with white, yellow, and red DRL accents. White keeps things clean for the street, yellow adds the GTS/CSL motorsport tone, and red brings a full show-car, track-inspired, aggressive front-end for events. E-marked assemblies; use white DRL for road-legal operation.
DRL variants & quick color switching
White-only OEM version: fixed white DRL with no color change — simple OEM-style LED upgrade with no extra modes to manage.
White + Yellow version: supports switchable white/yellow DRL. To toggle DRL color, flash high beams 5× for yellow (selective yellow ≈3000 K); flash 4× for white (~6000 K).
White + Yellow + Amber version: supports three DRL colors (white/yellow/amber). Use the high beam stalk to select the mode: flash 4× for white, 5× for yellow, or 6× for amber.
White + Yellow + Red version: adds a red DRL option to the CSL-style signatures. Control via the high beam stalk: flash 3× for red, 4× for yellow, or 5× for white.

Exact fitment & pin guide
Platforms: F32 Coupe, F33 Convertible, F36 Gran Coupé.
- LED (6-pin) — F32/F33/F36 approx. 2014–2020 LCI, with 5A2 LED (non-adaptive) or 552 Adaptive LED on most cars. Order the 6-pin version if your headlight plug has 6 pins populated.
- Pre-LCI Xenon non-adaptive (8-pin) — F32/F33/F36 approx. 2013–2016 with 522 Xenon (no 524). Order the 8-pin version.
- Pre-LCI Adaptive Xenon (9-pin) — F32/F33/F36 approx. 2013–2016 with 522 + 524 Adaptive Xenon (AHL/AFS). Order the 9-pin version.
- Adaptive LED (10-pin, rare) — Some early pre-LCI cars with 552 Adaptive LED use a headlight connector with 10 pins populated instead of 6 (extra wiring for LED/AFS/K-CAN). Order the 10-pin version if your plug physically has 10 pins, and be prepared to code out adaptive/AFS if your new lights are non-adaptive.
Build date & VO/SA codes help: 522 → usually 8-pin, 522 + 524 → 9-pin, 5A2/552 → 6-pin on most F32/F33/F36 cars, but a small number of pre-LCI 552 Adaptive LED cars use a 10-pin connector. Always confirm by counting the pins on your headlight plug. The connector housing is 12-position, with 6 / 8 / 9 / 10 pins populated depending on variant.
In the box

- 1 × Right (passenger) LED headlight

Install & wiring
- Remove OE assemblies using factory mounting points.
- Match connector style (6-pin LCI, 8-pin, or 9-pin pre-LCI) and connect to the OE harness.
- Power on to verify low/high, DRL color mode (white / yellow / amber / red depending on variant), and turn signals; aim beams with built-in adjusters.
Note: Intended for retrofit/upgrade at 12 V. Professional installation recommended.

FAQs
Do I need coding? Typically no on like-for-like connector versions. Some retrofits may require coding depending on vehicle options.
Can I run yellow/amber/red DRL all the time? The hardware allows continuous operation in any DRL color, but only white DRL is generally accepted as road-legal. Yellow/amber/red DRL modes are best reserved for shows/off-road use—always check local regulations.
Bulb interface “D2H” listed? Units are LED-based; D2H appears in some retrofit notes. No external bulbs are required.
Which connector do I have? Check your VO/SA code and build date: 522 (8-pin), 524 (9-pin), 5A2/552 (6-pin).
