Choose your DRL style

• White-only OEM DRL — clean factory-style light bars for a subtle OEM+ look. Ideal if you want your F30/F31 to look like it rolled out of the dealership with original-equipment LED headlights. A perfect OEM-style replacement for tired halogen/xenon units, keeping the car looking stock while upgrading to modern LED performance. E-marked and fully road-legal.
• CSL White/Yellow DRL — classic GTS/CSL-inspired halo design with switchable white/yellow DRL for a more aggressive front-end. The crisp white DRL gives you a sharp OEM+ daytime look, while the deep yellow CSL signature brings a track-car aesthetic and motorsport vibe when activated. E-marked and road-legal when the white DRL is selected; the yellow DRL color is intended for shows/off-road use.
• White/Yellow/Amber CSL DRL — three-stage CSL-style DRL with white, yellow and amber options for maximum presence. The white DRL is your street-friendly, road-legal mode, while the additional yellow and amber accents push the car toward a more aggressive, track-inspired, stance-focused look. E-marked and road-legal when used in white DRL mode.

DRL variants & mode switching

White-only OEM version: fixed white DRL with no color change — ideal if you want a simple, factory-style LED upgrade without extra modes.

CSL white/yellow version: supports white/yellow DRL switching. To switch DRL from white to yellow, flash the high beams 5 times.

White/yellow/amber version: supports multiple DRL colors (white/yellow/amber). To change modes, flash the high beams 4 times for white, 5 times for yellow, or 6 times for amber.

Platforms: F30 Sedan, F31 Touring (excludes F34 Gran Turismo).

These are complete LED headlights designed as an upgrade for F30/F31 models originally equipped with either halogen or xenon headlights.

• Fit for original Xenon cars — F30/F31 approx. with factory 522 Xenon Lights (non-adaptive) or 522 + 524 Adaptive Xenon (Adaptive Front-lighting System, AFS / Adaptive Headlights). Ideal for a xenon-to-LED retrofit/upgrade, giving older xenon cars a modern LED headlight look and performance. Cars that originally had Adaptive Xenon (522 + 524) are fully compatible; the LED headlights will work for low/high beam and DRL, but the Adaptive Front-lighting System will no longer be active. You may wish to code out the AFS/adaptive bulb warning (remove 524 from the VO and recode the light modules) to avoid check control errors.
• Fit for original Halogen cars — F30/F31 with standard halogen headlights (no 522, 524, 5A2 or 552 in the VO/SA option list). Perfect for a halogen to LED retrofit/upgrade, replacing basic halogen reflectors with projector-style LED units for a sharper OEM look. Coding is not needed after a halogen-to-LED retrofit

Build date & VO/SA codes help (F30/F31): 522 = Xenon Lights, 524 = Adaptive Headlights (Adaptive Front-lighting System/AFS), 5A2 = LED Headlights, 552 = Adaptive LED Headlights. Cars without 522, 524, 5A2 or 552 are typically standard halogen from factory. These LED headlights are suitable both as a direct xenon-to-LED upgrade for 522/524 cars and as a halogen-to-LED retrofit/upgrade on F30/F31 platforms.

Install & wiring

1. Remove OE assemblies using factory mount points.
2. Connect OE multi-pin plugs to each unit and secure.
3. Power on to verify low/high, DRL mode, and indicators; aim beams with the built-in adjusters.

Purpose: retrofit/upgrade; 12 V system. Professional installation recommended.
