Arrow-DRL LED Headlights — BMW 3 Series (F30/F31)
Full LED Conversion with M4-Style Arrow-DRL — Halogen, Xenon & LED Models — 2012–2018
BMW F30 Sedan • F31 Touring • 320i • 328i • 330i • 335i • 340i • Pre-LCI & LCI • 2012–2018
The Arrow-DRL is BMW's sharpest current lighting signature — the angular strip that defines the face of the M4 and 4 Series (G82/G22). These headlights bring that design language to the F30, where the body lines were already pointing in this direction. The front end stops looking a generation behind and starts reading as something deliberate.
This is a complete lighting conversion. Bi-LED projectors replace whatever your car currently has — halogen reflectors, pre-LCI xenon, or LCI factory LED. Adaptive (AFS) xenon cars are fully supported. Every LED driver and control module comes pre-installed. Select your factory headlight type and your DRL configuration at checkout — we handle the rest.
Note: Does not fit the F34 Gran Turismo (GT) — different headlight housing shape.
Step 1 — Select Your Factory Headlight Type
We manufacture a dedicated version for each factory configuration. If you have adaptive (AFS) xenon, the standard xenon version covers you.

Step 2 — Choose Your DRL Configuration
Two DRL configurations on the same Arrow-DRL housing platform. Pick by color count and intended use.
White
The clean factory look.
Fixed white DRL in the M4-style Arrow shape. Clean, understated, and the modern BMW aesthetic without multi-color switching.
White + Yellow
The motorsport signature.
Toggle between crisp White and Selective Yellow (3000K) for the unmistakable endurance-racing presence. Switched via the factory high-beam stalk.
The choice for shows, track days, and events.
DRL Color Switching — No App Required
Applies to the White + Yellow version only. The White-only version has a fixed DRL.
Flash your high beams 5 times in quick succession to toggle between White (~6,000K) and Yellow (~3,000K). The headlight retains your selection through ignition cycles. No phone, no app, no external switch.
How These Are Built
Halogen, Xenon & LED — Three Dedicated Versions
The F30 shipped with three headlight systems across its production run — halogen reflectors, bi-xenon projectors (standard and adaptive AFS), and LCI factory LED. We manufacture a dedicated version for each one with the correct CAN-bus electronics and harness connector for your car. Adaptive xenon cars are fully supported under the standard xenon version. No error codes, no adapters.
Ships Complete — Nothing to Transfer
Every assembly includes all LED drivers and control electronics pre-installed. No xenon ballasts to move, no D1S bulbs to source, no ignitors to carry over. Your factory headlights stay intact.
Bi-LED Projectors with Auto-Leveling
High-output Bi-LED projectors replace the factory optics entirely. Sharp cutoff line, wide coverage, instant-on with no warm-up delay. The integrated auto-leveling motor adjusts beam height based on vehicle load.
Auto High Beam Assist — Fully Supported
If your F30 came with high beam assist, it keeps working. The CAN-bus control module reads the factory camera signal and switches between low and high beam automatically — identical behavior to the factory unit, no reconfiguration needed.
Sealed Construction
ABS housings with PMMA lenses, sealed against moisture at every joint.
Installation
A straightforward headlight swap requiring front bumper removal — standard on the F30 platform. No wiring modifications, no coding on any version. Allow 2–3 hours.
- Remove the front bumper to access the headlight mounting bolts.
- Unbolt the factory headlights and disconnect the main harness plug.
- Plug the new headlight into your factory harness.
- Test before reassembly — verify low beam, high beam, Arrow-DRL, indicators, and (on the dual-color version) DRL color switching (5× flash).
- Reinstall the bumper, align beam height using the integrated adjusters.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. The F30 Sedan and F31 Touring share identical headlight mounting points and connectors.
No. The F34 GT uses a different headlight housing shape that is not compatible with F30/F31 headlights.
Not at all. The xenon version covers both standard and adaptive AFS xenon. The internal CAN-bus electronics handle the AFS harness natively — no coding, no error codes. Just select "xenon" at checkout.
The factory LCI LED headlights use the previous-generation DRL design. These assemblies replace it with the Arrow-DRL from BMW's current design language — and, on the dual-color version, add switchable White/Yellow DRL capability.
Both versions share the same Arrow-DRL housing, same Bi-LED projectors, same fitment, and the same plug-and-play installation. The White version has a fixed white DRL — clean and understated. The White+Yellow version adds switchable color: flash the high beams 5× to toggle between White and Selective Yellow for the motorsport look.
Nothing. Every component is pre-installed — LED drivers, projector modules, DRL electronics, leveling motor. Your factory headlights stay fully intact.
Yes. The integrated leveling motor adjusts beam height based on vehicle load — the same auto-leveling behavior as your factory headlights.
Yes. The CAN-bus module reads the factory high beam assist camera signal and switches between low and high beam automatically — identical to the factory unit, no reconfiguration needed.
Yes, if you're comfortable removing the front bumper on the F30. Standard hand tools and about 2–3 hours. No lift required.
