Step 1: Verify Your Car's Market Origin
To guarantee a flawless plug-and-play installation, you must select the original market your car was built for. BMW uses different factory wiring connectors for the US and EU markets.
- EU Market: Select this if your F32/F82 was originally manufactured and sold for the European market.
- US Market (Import): If you are located in Europe but your vehicle is a US Import, you MUST select the US version. The wiring harness must match the car's origin, regardless of where it is currently registered or driven.

Installation Overview
- Open the trunk and carefully remove the inner trim panels to access the tail light bolts.
- Unbolt and remove the factory outer chassis lights and inner trunk lights.
- Disconnect the original wiring harnesses.
- Mount the new GTS-style assemblies and plug them directly into your factory harness.
- Test Functions: Ensure the start-up sequence, brake lights, reverse lights, and sequential turn signals operate correctly before securing the trim.
