The Arrow-DRL is the lighting signature BMW developed for the M4 and 4 Series — the sharp, angular strip that replaced the corona ring on the latest G-chassis cars. On the pre-LCI F20, it does something specific: it takes the car's already-aggressive hatchback proportions and gives them a front end that matches. Where the factory halogen or xenon headlights always fell short of the body's intent, the Arrow-DRL completes it.
This is a complete halogen-to-LED or xenon-to-LED conversion. Full bi-LED projectors, Arrow-DRL signature, and a startup animation that plays when you unlock the car. Two DRL configurations on the same Arrow-DRL housing platform. Pick by color count and intended use.
White
The clean factory look.
Fixed white Arrow-DRL. Clean, understated, and the modern BMW aesthetic without multi-color switching.
White + Yellow
The CSL signature.
Toggle between crisp White and Selective Yellow (3000K) for the unmistakable CSL motorsport presence. Switched via the factory high-beam stalk.

DRL Color Switching
Applies to the White + Yellow version only. The White-only version has a fixed DRL.
Flash your high beams 5 times in quick succession to toggle the Arrow-DRL between White and Yellow. The headlight retains your selection through ignition cycles.

Every assembly includes all LED drivers and control electronics pre-installed. No xenon ballasts to move, no D1S bulbs to source, no ignitors to carry over. Your factory headlights stay intact.
Bi-LED Projectors with Auto-Leveling
Dedicated bi-LED projector modules handle both low and high beam — no shared optics, no compromises. The output is a sharp cutoff line with wide, even coverage. The integrated auto-leveling motor responds to vehicle load over the factory CAN-bus, the same way the factory system does.
Auto High Beam Assist Compatible
If your F20/F21 is equipped with Auto High Beam Assist (AHBA), it works as normal. The high beam LED module communicates over the factory harness the same way the original unit does — the camera sees no difference and no recoding is needed.

Startup Animation
When you unlock or start the car, a brief sweeping LED sequence plays through the Arrow-DRL strip. During normal driving, the DRL operates as a steady strip in your selected color.
Installation
A straightforward headlight swap requiring front bumper removal — standard on the F20 platform. No wiring modifications, no coding. Allow 2–3 hours.
- Remove the front bumper to access the headlight mounting bolts.
- Unbolt the factory headlights and disconnect the main harness plug.
- Plug the new headlight into your factory harness.
- Test before reassembly — verify low beam, high beam, DRL, indicators, startup animation, and (on the dual-color version) DRL color switching (5× flash).
- Reinstall the bumper, align beam height using the integrated adjusters.
